| Al Leiter is a Bayville product. He believes in not forgetting your roots. His town needed a top quality Senior Little League field and Leiterslanding donated $100,000.00 to begin the construction. The field was completed in 1999 and with the help of the Recreation Department and the Berkeley Township Little League the project is continuing to grow. A new concession stand and improving the park area with a T-ball field, another Little League field, batting cages, and a fenced in pitcher warm-up area. The complex is very impressive. The town had Al Leiter Day with a parade and dedication of the field. |
